Big Time

Lilypie Kids birthday Ticker

I'm procrastinating big time! About three months left till the little one arrives, assuming all goes well and she's on time and I haven't even moved my stuff out of her room!

I have all these storage ideas, but so little money to actually follow through with any of them.

I need help!

What type of space are you needing? Art supplies to get your stuff out of the baby's room or what else?
I ALWAYS add extra shelving in each bedroom closet, the washroom over the dryer, each bathroom closet and on the inside of doors using the wire shelving organizers from Lowe's. Shelves, spice racks, etc. Since they are behind closed doors, they aren't seen.
Also, If they ARE to be seen, save shoe boxes and cover them in pretty paper and use them for storage.
Don't forget under the sink in all the bathrooms and kitchen. Use those little tubs you get at the hospital when you have a baby, they rinse out if you get a leak, put things in ziploc bags and store in the tubs by type (baby, hair and nails, cosmetics, etc.) I also collect any pretty box or tub that a toy or gift comes in and use it in some way. I have paterns stored in a legos box that is pushed out of sight under a chest. ***Also make your baby's crib's bedskirt long enough to skim the floor (even if you have to make it yourself...like I did!) You can store diapers, wipes and other baby essentials close by but out of sight without taking up closet space! You can easily add to a commercial skirt too.
Good luck, hope this helps some!
