Yum, homemade cobbler. What's even better? It's delicious, fast and works with almost any fresh or canned fruit.
AUNT ERSULA'S OLD FASHIONED COBBLER -
1 stick butter
1 cup Bisquick
1 cup sugar
1 cup milk
1 quart (4 cups) fresh, frozen or canned (and drained) fruit
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Melt butter and brown slightly in oblong deep-dish pan, spreading butter over bottom.
Combine Bisquick, sugar and milk. Pour batter gently over melted butter.
Add fruit over top, not stirring.
Bake 30 minutes, or until golden and bubbly. Cool for at least 10 minutes to set and serve with vanilla yogurt or ice cream.
